The Associated General Contractors of America has removed its name from its BIM Forum, which is concluding today in Philadelphia, in order to create the BIM Forum LLC. The Associated General Contractors of America will continue to own and run the BIM Forum, however its name was recently changed and its focus and membership expanded to include more architects, designers, owners, design and construction attorneys, academia leaders and other BIM pioneers. The BIM Forum will now charge members an $150 annual membership fee, which will include monthly meetings, weekly teleconferences and more web casts, in addition to its three BIM conferences a year.
